Every Thursday all summer long, we’ve been dancing together! For this VINYL ONLY night in the garden, we’re hosting Luka Jelčić and Jaroslav Smirnov, with support of our resident MELI. Luka Jelčić, vinyl DJ, selector and producer, with a sound that moves between house, minimal and techno. His sets combine hypnotic grooves, refined vinyl selections and an old school approach to building a set. Moving through different sides of underground sound, his selection adapts to the space, the crowd and the moment, with no predetermined direction. Jaroslav Smirnov He started his career in the mid 2000s in the underground clubs of Saint Petersburg and now lives and works in Montenegro. For his set at 20/44, he has prepared an vinyl only selection focused on deep Detroit house and Chicago jacking/soulful grooves, spanning from the early and mid 90s to today. This music has been collected over the years, with a particular focus on an analogue, raw and hypnotic sound. MELI is a DJ, abstract artist and vinyl collector from Belgrade. Her sound is underground and groovy, combining soulful and jazzy house, acid house, Detroit tech house, breakbeat, electro and techno, depending on the space and the crowd. She places a strong focus on long, fluid sets, bringing together a wide range of musical elements and genres, showing just how compatible and harmonious seemingly different sounds can be.
